Instructor: Lindsay Stidham

Has your unwritten screenplay been gnawing away at you? Do you get stuck in the early phases? Do you have a great idea for a feature, but you’re just not sure where to go next? Us too! At the end of this 3 hour workshop you will leave with a polished log line and concrete road map to finally sit down and write your full screenplay! Seriously, it’s time to just write it already. This workshop will teach you the ropes, help you get accountable, and you’ll meet like-minded screenwriters while you do it. We will work in a nurturing workshop setting where supportive class feedback is welcome and encouraged. Let’s get your ideas on paper!

Lindsay Stidham holds an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute. She has overseen two scripts from script to screen as a writer/ producer. SPOONER, starring Matthew Lillard (SLAMDANCE), and DOUCHEBAG (SUNDANCE) both released theatrically. Most recently Lindsay sold PLAY NICE starring Mary Lynn Rajskub. The mini series was distributed on Amazon and Hulu. Lindsay’s short film TIL DEATH DO US PART premieres at Walla Walla this summer, and her feature script THE FUCK TRUCK was named number one on The Bitch List 2018. Lindsay has taught screenwriting at the New York Film Academy. She’s also taught private workshops for minority writers to help create a safe space for input and feedback.
