The Ruby Storytelling Class is an opportunity to mine your personal narratives to create compelling content. Suitable for all skill levels, the class focuses on a variety of exercises to give you tools relating to structure, individual points of view, and finding the art in detail. You will leave the class with 2 completely original stories; an 8-10 minute story ready for the stage, and a 5 minute story ready for story-slams. This course is 5-weeks long and culminates in a graduating class show on The Ruby LA’s stage in the heart of Hollywood.
Beowulf Jones has been featured multiple times on the RISK! Storytelling Podcast, and produces and hosts monthly storytelling show RISK! LA at The Bootleg Theater. In addition to private coaching, he also teaches for The Story Studio. He’s performed on stages such as UCB, Nerdist, LA RIOT Festival, MaxFunCon, The Roxy, The PIT, and is never too busy to drop everything and talk “Twin Peaks: The Return”.
