Crying At Work: Level 2 Improv (Wednesdays)

Instructor: Dwayne Colbert

Crying At Work is our Level 2 longform improv class!

Gone are the days when it’s bad to cry at work. Why? Because we say so! We cry in front of each other all the time, even in staff meetings. The Ruby is into emotion.

This class is all about being your best actor and your most in-the-moment self. You’re a great listener! That’ll help a lot. And if your listening skills need some brushing up, we’ve got you covered there too. We’ll dive deeper into making dynamic scenes together, and we’ll help you get in touch with all those great acting chops you may not know you’ve got.

This class is 8 weeks long and ends in a graduation class on The Ruby LA stage!

Dwayne Colbert is an improviser from Los Angeles. He writes, performs, and directs improv and sketch at Second City, Nerdist School, iO West and The Pack Theatre. He has been a writer for Nickelodeon, has toured with The Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, has recently appeared on Silicon Valley, Baskets, Veep, Speechless and in numerous national commercials.

Our classrooms are ADA compliant.
