The Ruby LA is a comedy theater and school in Los Angeles openly founded on the ideals of intersectional feminism with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. This core value system has been a part of The Ruby LA since its inception. And this system remains at the heart of everything we do.
The Ruby LA is foremost a safe space where we advocate for our community, advocate for the underrepresented, and advocate for comedians & artists. By design, The Ruby LA elevates women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ folks, people with disabilities, and all underrepresented voices.
We believe in having an expansive understanding of intersectional feminism. And we believe in valuing our community and the people in it above all else. Our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion guides us. We proudly employ faculty and staff who are representative of the community we support. And underrepresented voices in Hollywood drive the creation, production, and curation of our live shows and digital content.
Right now, in America, there is a fundamental shift happening. And we are committed leaders driving this shift, reflecting the world we hope to see.
