The Ruby LA’s Whole Gem Improv Program is our entire awesome improv program in 8 weeks! We’ve done away with the boring old level system to bring you an intensive improv experience, guided by 4 wonderful teachers, so that you can dive into and swim around in our whole program in a matter of 8 weeks (instead of 32). Once you complete this course, you’re eligible to audition for our improv house team program.

We are so thrilled to be able to offer you 4 amazing instructors for this unique class, each teaching for 2 weeks in a row. Muriel Montgomery, Rebekka Johnson, Ptolemy Slocum and Jen Curran are all improv experts in their own right, each bringing a different but complementary perspective to longform improv comedy, each well-known for being inspiring, talented and unforgettable teachers. This is a wealth of knowledge you don’t wanna miss.

This class is 8 weeks long and ends with a graduation show on The Ruby LA stage.

Refund Policy

  • The Ruby LA has a no-refund policy on all classes and shows. If we need to cancel or re-schedule a class for any reason, you are entitled to take that class or classes equal to the admission price of that class. You may use your class credit for up to two years, after which time it expires.
  • The Ruby LA reserves the right to replace a course instructor, without notice, and at any time, with another equally qualified course instructor.
  • The Ruby LA also reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course if an emergency or unforeseen conflict arises. In the event of a complete cancellation, students’ tuition will be refunded or credited. Any fees incurred by students for travel, lodging, etc. will not be reimbursed by the Ruby LA.
